Search every transcript on a channel. Jump to the exact second.
Taffy structures every video on an indexed channel: chapters, topics, citations. Ask a question across the archive and get the episode and timestamp back.
Library for learners and researchers. Creator Club for channel owners who want to mine their own archive.
YouTube hands out captions. Taffy hands you an archive.
Captions are a wall of text per video. They have no chapters, no topic extraction, no citations, no cross-video search. Useful as raw input, useless as a research surface.
Taffy indexes the channels people actually study (longevity researchers, founder podcasts, AI builders) and gives you the transcript with structure on top. Subscribe to the Library and the whole indexed archive is searchable. Own a channel? Creator Club indexes yours, and your team can ask it questions from Claude or Codex.
What's in a Taffy transcript
Every transcript is structured the same way, whether you're reading a featured channel in the Library or your own videos in Creator Club.
Chapters with timestamps
Auto-detected chapters with start times. Jump to a moment without watching the video.
Topics and entities
The actual topics, names, and concepts discussed — ranked by relevance, not just word frequency.
Cross-channel search
Search every transcript across the indexed Library. Every answer cites the exact video and timestamp.
Numbers and citations
Stats, study references, and quoted figures pulled into a separate index so you can cite without scrubbing.

How extraction works
From video to structured transcript in under a minute.
Pick a channel
Library: browse featured channels Taffy already indexes. Creator Club: hand over your channel URL and we index it for you.
Taffy structures every transcript
Captions get pulled in, chapters and topics are extracted, numbers and entities are indexed. Everything becomes searchable.
Ask, jump, cite
Ask the channel a question. Get answers with the exact video and timestamp. Copy citations straight into research notes or briefs.
Who actually uses it
Same transcript engine. Different jobs to be done.
Longevity researchers
Pull quoted figures and study citations from Huberman, Attia, and Sinclair without scrubbing two-hour interviews.
Founder operators
Search Hormozi, Dwarkesh, and indie hacker channels for specific tactics with sourced timestamps for the team Slack.
Journalists and analysts
Verifiable quotes with timestamps, ready for citation in articles, reports, and market briefs.
Solo creators publishing weekly
Mine your own back catalog for shorts cuts, callback references, and topic clusters your audience already engaged with.
Channels with a small team
Producers, writers, and editors all query the same channel brain from Claude or Codex without re-watching footage.
Founders running a personal channel
Your videos, your competitors, indexed together. Plan the next quarter from evidence instead of vibes.
Taffy transcripts vs everything else
YouTube captions are a wall of text. Generic AI summarizers process one video at a time. Taffy is structured and persistent.

Common questions
Can I extract a transcript from any YouTube video?
Taffy works against the channels we index. The Library covers featured channels (longevity researchers, founder podcasts, AI builders, and more). With Creator Club we index your own channel and up to three competitors. We do not run one-off transcript extractions on arbitrary public videos — the value is the persistent, searchable index.
How are timestamps and chapters generated?
We start from the official captions, then run topic segmentation to detect chapter boundaries and extract entities. Timestamps stay accurate to the second, so citations link directly to the moment in the video.
What's the difference between Library and Creator Club?
Library ($9/mo) gets you search and citations across the channels Taffy already indexes — great for researchers, students, journalists, and operators. Creator Club ($199/mo) is for channel owners: we index your own channel, your comments, and your competitors, then ship installable skills your team can call from Claude or Codex.
Can I use transcripts inside Claude or another AI agent?
Yes — Creator Club members get installable skill packs (Comment Intelligence, Content Briefs, Archive-to-Shorts, Video Postmortem, Title Angles) that plug your indexed channel into Claude Code, Codex, and similar agents. See the skill library.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Library and Creator Club are monthly. Cancel any time from the billing portal.
