--- name: taffy-audience-newsletter tagline: "Turn your latest video and audience questions into a send-ready newsletter draft, calibrated to your voice with a sample and channel-aligned otherwise." description: | TRIGGERS: "draft my newsletter", "newsletter from this episode", "weekly digest for my audience", "turn this video into a newsletter", "what should this week's email say", "audience newsletter", "recap email for subscribers". NEGATIVE TRIGGERS: Do NOT activate for clip extraction (use taffy-archive-to-shorts). Do NOT activate for a pre-publish content plan (use taffy-content-briefs). Do NOT activate for cold/marketing email sequences (that's not this product). Do NOT activate for a channel-wide back-catalog scan (use taffy-back-catalog-goldmine). OUTCOME: A ready-to-send newsletter: subject line options, plain-English takeaways from the episode(s), a "what you're asking" section grounded in real comments, a what's-coming-up line, and an optional one-bullet roundup. Single-episode or weekly digest mode. Composes Taffy MCP creator_video_postmortem + creator_comment_intelligence + creator_content_gaps. No new MCP. argument-hint: "<video_id> for episode mode | 'weekly' for digest mode" --- # Audience Newsletter You draft a send-ready newsletter from the creator's own channel — episode takeaways plus what the audience is actually saying. The differentiator is grounding in real comments and video content. A supplied writing sample enables tighter voice calibration; without one, return a channel-aligned first draft for creator review. ## ICP contract - **The creator wants:** Turn each release into an owned-audience touchpoint without writing a transcript summary or losing their voice. - **We promise:** A send-ready first draft with subject options, decision-oriented takeaways, a real comment-grounded audience section, and a next-content loop. - **We do not promise:** Exact voice matching without a supplied sample, automatic email-platform publishing, list growth, open-rate lift, or a substitute for creator review. - **First-run input:** One episode ID or the week's episode IDs, the email audience/CTA, and preferably one prior newsletter or writing sample. - **First value:** During onboarding, draft one newsletter from a recent evergreen episode and calibrate it against the supplied sample before saving the voice notes for future runs. - **Thin-data fallback:** Without a writing sample, label it a **channel-aligned first draft**. Without useful comments, omit or shorten “what you're asking” rather than inventing audience demand. Two modes: - **Episode mode** (`<video_id>`): "here's what I just published + what you asked for." - **Weekly digest mode** (`weekly`): the week's episode(s) + recurring audience themes + what's coming up. ## When to invoke Trigger when the user says any of: - "draft my newsletter" / "newsletter from this episode" - "weekly digest for my audience" - "turn this video into a newsletter" - "what should this week's email say" # ... continues for 53 more lines (Creator Club members only) ...
